Your Support Has a Far-Reaching Impact

Contributions from individuals and organizations assist DreamWeaver Musical Theatre in our mission of enriching and educating the lives of children and families throughout the Treasure Valley each year. Because Dreamweaver believes in making theatre accessible to ALL children throughout the Treasure Valley, regardless of ability to pay, over 80% of our performance tickets are donated to organizations throughout the Treasure Valley that serve underprivileged and underserved children and families.

Created in 2011 as a response to the growing need for artistic entertainment for children and families, DreamWeaver Musical Theatre is growing to include vital, groundbreaking educational programs as well as season of musicals and outreach.

Because ticket sales cover approximately a quarter of our costs, DreamWeaver Musical Theatre relies on your contributions to help produce a season of musicals. Revenue for education outreach programming pays for even less—about a fourth of these educational expenses; therefore, educational initiatives at DreamWeaver Musical Theatre exist ONLY through the support of generous individuals, corporations and foundations.

Your contributions will provide assistance for the following programs

• Children’s Storybook Theatre
• Elementary Theatre Outreach
• Theatre workshops and master classes
• Art workshops

Student Outreach Performance Series will potentially reach more than 6000 students with weekday performances of our outreach productions. $1 student tickets do not cover the costs to produce live, main stage theatre specifically for students at our performing arts venue. Study guides enhance arts-in-educational experiences. Teachers will use these free tools to link the student’s theater experience with curriculum-related activities. No child is ever turned away for lack of means to pay.

DreamWeaver’s arts programs are created and administered by DreamWeaver Musical Theatre. Students learn the creative process, teamwork, and communication skills in an arts educational format taught by theater artists. 12 weeks of theatre arts rehearsals for main stage productions culminate in the performance of a musical.
